Radiation at a wavelength of 780-1400 nm, emitted by certain electric filament lamps, is used for treatment. The heat penetrates into the tissues up to 3-4 cm.

Specific benefits of combining infrared therapy with therapeutic massage include improved blood circulation, reduced stress and relaxation, reduced symptoms of osteoarthritis and muscle pain, improved heart health, enhanced immunity, and reduced hypertension.

The duration of the procedure is 20-40 minutes, the course includes up to 15 procedures. The patient should feel a pleasant warmth, not a burning sensation.

Indications for the application of Infrared therapy:

  • sub-acute and chronic inflammation,
  • sub-acute and chronic pain,
  • sub-acute tissue swelling,
  • contractures,
  • painful trigger points,
  • fibromyalgia,
  • muscle spasm,
  • muscle sprain (during the sub-acute stage),
